1. Decide whether you want a traditional style painting or a contemporary pop art style painting.
2. Decide on a size 255mm x 355mm - 10" x 14" OR 340mm x 440mm - 13.5" x 17.25" OR 460mm x 601mm - 18" x 24"

Tips for creating the best possible portrait:

  1. Photograph outside (avoid indoor flash). If it's a sunny day, make sure the sun is behind you to the left or right.
  2. Your pet should fill the photo.
  3. If possible get down at the animals level.
  4. Photos should be in focus and in colour.
