Art is a powerful form of expression for artists as well as for those who own it. Art beautifies and personalizes environments. Art can transform private homes or places of business into personal museums. An original piece of art is a passionate creation, which not only reflects the soul of the artist, but your soul as well, because you chose it. I Have been working in the field of Art, Design and Illustration for over 25 years. My work is based upon everyday experience. My interests brought together give me a greater understanding of my subjects. I love walking, especially in the Mountains in Winter. I have a facination for extreme weather and try to incorporate that into my works. I carry a camera and sketchbook everywhere I go just in case that special moment occurs and I can capture it and take back to my studio. Skies and weather totally facinate me amd always have done since i was very young. I think it stems from being a fisherman and spending many, many nights fishing and watching the sunrise over the water. I love extreme weather and if there is a storm brewing or the temperature drops most people turn up the central heating. I'll be out in the mountains or on a beach somewhere getting inspiration fro my next works. These are created in most mediums all tend to be very moody and have a stong light source.
